Kraig update

He tore a ligament in his right thumb about a month ago while playing...yep, you guessed it, church basketball.   He has been in a splint since the injury.  The doctor was able to reattach/repair the ligament without having to take a tendon out of Kraig's forearm.  He will be in a cast for 6 weeks and then a splint for another 6 weeks.  He is planning to return to work on Wednesday, so we'll see how that goes.  He is doing well, although learning to function without his right hand will take some getting used to.

Just wanted to let you all know that the surgery went very well this morning.  The doctor was able to repair the ligament without needing a tendon graft so that was good news.  Kraig is doing well.  Thanks for your prayers and help.
