Just heard Brad Risenmay (former Othello SP) sustained as an Area 70. Congratulations on having an Area 70 in the family.

We missed that. The beginning of the first session got cut off in the recording and Lea had a baseball game so we missed the beginning of the second session. Jeff may have heard it, but he's been down for two days with some sort of flu-type bug. The mere mention of food makes him run for the bathroom.....lucky for the missionaries who are coming over to eat with us..... Are you watching conference via broadcast or on the internet?

Made about 24 jars of strawberry jam so now my kids can have pb&J and not just pb sandwiches. I pulled a store bought jam from the cupboard and noone will eat it. :) Now to freeze some strawberries for later use.

What a loving note from the sister missionaries - they only get to see a glimpse of everything you do and have done throughout your lives - we love you!

Happy Easter! Love, Alison, Jeff, Lea, Lucas & Abbey

We watch some live, some rebroadcast and some at home on the computer. Yesterday (Saturday) we saw the YW broadcast at 2 p.m. (rebroadcast--we had seen it earlier on the computer) and the Sat a.m. session at 6 p.m. (live). We watched the first part of the Sat. p.m. session on the computer beginning at 10 p.m. last night, then went to bed. Today we will go to the church to watch the PH session at 11 a.m. (rebroadcast), then see a rebroadcast of the Sat p.m  session at 2 p.m.   We will then have a dinner at the church with the YSA and missionaries at 4:30 and then watch the Sunday a.m. session live beginning at 5:30 with Music and the spoken word. The Sunday p.m. session we will watch on the computer sometime on Monday.
Glad to hear that you were able to get some strawberry jam made.  Mom (and me also) has become a fan of what the Norwegians call tyttebær jam (loganberry). We eat almost exclusively storebought jam, but it is very tasty. So how was Lea's ballgame?  Hope she is doing well. Sorry to hear that Jeff has been sick, that is not fun.  We have a beautiful day here today, the sun is shining and the sky is clear blue. It froze last night, but should be up to about 40 or 45 during the day. Here are a couple of recent photos--one of us taken Friday evening near an old church wneh we were on our way to visit a family in an area called Melhus. The other of the hill behind our apt. This is how I measure how spring is progressing.  We now have daylight beginning about 5:30 and lasting until close to 9 p.m.

Love to all,
dad and mom
